Since managers in all departments functionally confront HR issues daily, it is important that students of management are introduced to the major topics associated with managing people in the context of the global marketplace.

The course is designed to give participants an overview of Human Resource issues and practices in organisations from an international perspective and will include the following topics:

· Role of HR in Business Strategy

· Job Analysis and Human Resources Planning

· Testing and Selection

· Training and Development

· Performance Management and Appraisal

· Compensation Management

· Career Management and Development

· Employee Relations

· International HRM
