Individual home assignment, 10-15 pages. One grade on the 7-point scale is given by the examiner and a second internal examiner.

Course Content
This course discusses the politics of the processes of harmonization and standardization, and investigates the ‘grey area’ that exists between international business and national, regional, and international political systems. The course provides students with an insight into how global business standards are forged and broken and develops student’s analytical skills in understanding the politics of standard setting, as well as their knowledge of the variety of comparative political and economic systems that are changing under broader processes of economic globalization and regionalization.
