In order to participate in the oral exam, the written product must be handed in before the oral exam; by the set deadline. The grade is based on an overall assessment of the written product and the individual oral performance.

• 1 student: max.10 standard pages
• 2 students: max.15 standard pages

Make-up examinations are given as an individual oral exam based on the group project.
Re-take examinations are given as an individual oral exam based on the group project handed in for the regular examination, as well as a supplementary piece, max. 5 standard pages in length.
Description of the exam procedure
The final exam is a group project which Is also ending 2nd year.
The project will be followed by an individual 20 minutes oral exam which takes its point of departure in the group project but also to relations to theory and models from syllabus. The individual assessment is based on a combined evaluation of the written group project and the individual oral exam
Assessment. The student’s linguistic abilities may be included in the evaluation of the project. This evaluation is an overall evaluation of the academic content including the student’s ability to spell and write, taking into account that the academic content must be given preference. The individual assessment is based on a combined evaluation of the written group project and the individual oral exam.
Course content and structure
This course deals with the factors influencing the development of contemporary tourism demand. It introduces theories and empirical studies at the forefront of research in the field of tourism. Students gain insights on the factors that impact on the ability and motivation to travel in a fast changing world.  The course presents the latest  theoretical frameworks to comprehend tourist behaviour, tourist consumption, and tourism and hospitality product development. It examines the complex interrelationship between technological development and tourism demand. The aim of this course is also to explore various aspects of demand trends for emerging tourism products and destinations. Finally, the readings and teaching activities aim to provide theoretical and conceptual frameworks for the second year projects.
