  • Analyse the impact of globalization on the work organization.
  • Analyse the impact of globalization for workers.
  • Discuss and analyse the impact of globalization on the relation between society and work organizations.

Course content and structure

Globalization is a phenomenon affecting all parts of our society today. The world has in an ever increasing paced been integrated through travelling, trade, the internet and work. Almost all companies and other organizations are affected by globalization in one way or another. This course provides an understanding of contemporary issues and challenges caused by the worldwide interconnections that are defined as globalization. Through the examination of globalization’s diverse nature, students will explore its integration with business organisations and its effects on the organisation as well the social, cultural, political, and economic environments.
