The evaluation of this course consists of an individual 4-hour written exam. The form of this exam may be changed for the make-up exam. If the number of registered participants for the make-up exam warrants it , the make-up exam may most appropriately be held as an oral exam (20 minutes). | |||||||||||||||

Course Content | |||||||||||||||
This course provides knowledge on service business finance and on legal and contract management in service corporations. It enables students to understand and read financial accounts of corporations and to acquire skills in the valuation of intangible assets. Students will also master the law of service contract management and of the legal management and economic evaluation of intangible assets. Students will gain an understanding of the main elements of legal contract management and relate it to a real service firm. The relationship between theory and practice will be achieved by integrating the knowledge provided in the course to specific cases of real service corporations. Through its learning activities and assessment this course enhances competencies of problem solving, team work, writing and presenting academic reports for an expert audience, the coordination of project activities and the application of knowledge to practice. | |||||||||||||||
