Course Content

The course ‘Fundamentals of Information Systems’ is divided into two modules. The two modules constitute a foundation course that provides the necessary understanding of the definitions, concepts, and tools used throughout the IS field.
Module 2 focuses on knowledge of methods and techniques to obtain relevant data from organizations and the usage of data in designing for human interactions with information systems.

Module 2 provides an introduction to the field of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). This includes methods for analysis, design and evaluation of the human use of information systems.

The workshops will consist of practical activities involving data gathering, design, and evaluation.
