Course content and structure | |||||||||||||||||||||||
The course is designed to groom highly valued professionals for
taking leading roles in new startup ventures as well as established
organizations in a wide array of industries. In the context of
today's technology-intensive environment, entrepreneurship and
business development are the vehicles of sustainable growth and
competitive advantage. Subsequently, the course is focused on the
application of digital technology to the final phases of business
innovation from high fidelity prototypes and business models to
funding and new business development. Building on the relationships
between theories and work practices from design, entrepreneurship,
and information systems, the course provides the tools for
generating new business models, translating them into lean
startups, and turning them into thriving business ventures.
