Course content and structure | |||||||||||||||||||||||
This module discusses the main principles of logistics and supply chain management and the implications for shipping. The module addresses the importance of a customer orientation as well as the impact of changing macro trends creating extreme volatility in market demand. The participants will gain an understanding of the importance of managing the end-to-end supply chain.

The module will combine lectures, discussions, group work and case presentations. Reading material will be provided to the participants in beforehand for preparation for the module. Participants will be encouraged to think of a relevant work-related project where they can apply the theory they have learned throughout the module in order to translate theoretical learning into practice. |
