Internships require pre-approval by an IBP faculty supervisor approved by the Study Board.  Internships should be pre-approved prior to the start of the internship.

Before applying students are asked to read the Internship page on my.cbs.dk

A 15 ECTS internship requires a minimum of 375 hours (10 weeks) documented employment.

Be aware of that it's only possible to take one internship, so you have to decide if it should be to 7.5, 15 or 30 ECTS.

Course content and structure

The eligibility of proposed internships is evaluated by the supervisor on the basis of two criteria:

  1. The relevance of the host organization.

In line with the focus of the study program, the activities of the host organization must be related to one of the IBP core areas. The core areas of the IBP programs are politics, business and management, economics and law.

  1. The relevance of the internship position.

The second requirement is that the student’s responsibilities during the internship must be related to the IBP competence profile. The description of tasks and responsibilities must be clear stated in the internship application.
