Can not be taken by cand.merc.jur-students due to overlap with mandatory courses.

Course content and structure

This course focuses on EU law relevant for the Internet with particular focus on e-business in the Internal Market. The purpose of this course is to give the student a basic understanding of how EU law and the Internal Market works in the context of the Internet.

The course comprises at least the following topics:

- Introduction to EU Law and sources of law
- The EU Internal Market

- Processing of personal data

- Copyright
- Marketing

- Contracting and performance of contractual obligations
- Redress, including dispute settlement
Teaching methods
Case-based teaching with focus on discussion of cases.
Feedback during the teaching period
Feed-back through discussions in class (feedback sessions), which includes discussions of possible synopsis themes.
