Course content and structure

Marketing law in a linguistic perspective

 

  • The aim of this course is to enable students to understand and apply EU marketing law in Danish and English.
  • The course embraces both legal and linguistic aspects of EU marketing law, including the processing of personal data. The focus is on the understanding of basic EU law.

  • Students will be acquainted with the linguistic characteristics of legal writing as well as the specific linguistic challenges that we encounter when working with legal language. During the course, we will be working with the relevant legal terminology, e.g. when students are given feedback on their assignments.
