- Be able to solve real-world problems and cases using the tools
and theoretical concepts from basic corporate finance and
entrepreneurial finance
- Explain alternative approaches that can be used to solve these
problems and cases
- Discuss advantages and disadvantages of such approaches and how
the choice among these might influence the solution to the
porblem
- Relate the choice between various approaches to theoretical and
empirical findings in corporate finance and entrepreneurial
finance

The exam in the subject consists of three parts:

However, at all
written sit-in exams the student has access to the basic IT
application package (Microsoft Office (minus Excel), digital pen
and paper, 7-zip file manager, Adobe Acrobat, Texlive, VLC player,
Windows Media Player), and the student is allowed to bring simple
writing and drawing utensils (non-digital). PLEASE NOTE: Students
are not allowed to communicate with others during the
exam. | | Make-up exam/re-exam | Same examination form as the ordinary exam If the number of registered candidates for the make-up
examination/re-take examination warrants that it may most
appropriately be held as an oral examination, the programme office
will inform the students that the make-up examination/re-take

In order to participate in the oral exam, the written product
must be handed in before the oral exam; by the set deadline. The
grade is based on an overall assessment of the written product and

| Course content, structure and pedagogical
approach |
|
This course consists of both regular corporate finance and
entrepreneurial finance. A more thorough explanation of the course
may be added at a future point.

| Description of the teaching methods |
| The course has diverse teaching methods using
lectures, cases, readings, and discussions. The class meetings are
interactive and require ongoing engagement of the
students. |

| Feedback is given to the student together with
the grade when written and oral exams have been
evaluated. |
