Description of the teaching methods
This course applies blended learning principles, i.e. the combination of pre-recorded and live online teaching with face-to-face teaching. The course features lectures and case discussions for which students will be organized in two groups. Moreover, students form groups of four or five to analyze a recent innovation in a specific company based on interviews and desk research, reflecting the exam topics to which the students are introduced at the beginning of the course. Through this work, students can prepare themselves for the final home assignment.
Feedback during the teaching period
Written home assignment: Students form groups of
four or five to submit a written assignment. The assignment covers
one topic from the entire course curriculum and is structured
similar to the final exam. The assignments are submitted by a
specific deadline. Written feedback will be provided.
Multiple-choice quizzes: Students have the opportunity to take self-paced multiple-choice quizzes. Online feedback will be provided. There is continuous feedback to students based on case analyses and exercises in class. |
