At the end of the course students should be able to:
  • Distinguish between financial and managerial accounting by learning the terms, concepts, classifications, and related information used by managers. related information used by managers.

  • Understand budgets, including production, materials, overhead, cash, income, and position statements.
  • Evaluate the link between decision making and management accounting

Make-up exam/re-exam
Same examination form as the ordinary exam
If the number of registered candidates for the make-up examination/re-take examination warrants that it may most appropriately be held as an oral examination, the programme office will inform the students that the make-up examination/re-take examination will be held as an oral examination instead.

4 hour exam which includes exercises and theory

This course addresses the field of accounting that provides economic and financial information for managers and other internal users.

Preliminary Assignment:

Bachelor level: A generic test/assignment will be developed concerning “Nordic Nine”. It will be uploaded on Canvas at the end of May. Students are expected to access this assignment before classes begin. The assignment will not be reviewed in classes.”
