Make-up exam/re-exam

If the number of registered candidates for the make-up examination/re-take examination warrants that it may most appropriately be held as an oral examination, the programme office will inform the students that the make-up examination/re-take examination will be held as an oral examination instead.
Course content, structure and pedagogical approach

The course purpose is to provide students with knowledge of financial reporting under IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). 


The course builds on financial reporting at an introductiory level and focuses on recognition and measurement of assets, liabilities, revenues and cost according to IFRS at an intermediate level. Furthermore, it includes selected IFRS problems, including for example investments, tax, leasing and revenue recognition. 


As preparation for each class, students study relevant chapters in the text book as well as supplementary literature and cases. The course involves a combination of lectures and discussions of the literature and cases.

Lectures combined with cases and exercises.

Feedback from teacher to student includes feedback on group discussions and feedback on exercises in the classroom.
