The course takes place in Japan at one of two CBS' partner universities: Hitotsubashi University and Tokai University.
Students are to take a placement test offered at the host university before the semester starts. It is important that students do not miss the placement test.
The host university reserves the right to place the students in relevant courses based upon the results of individual entry level tests. It is possible for a student to be placed in a courses, which is at a lower level lower than what is required for Propaedeutics D. Immediately after placement, these students need to inform SB-IBA@cbs.dk as well as the course coordinator. The course coordinator will provide guidance (information about additional material, sources, learning activities, etc.) on how to prepare for the retake in Propaedeutics D at CBS in August.
Hitotsubashi University Successful completion of all courses "Intermediate 1" is required to pass this course. Courses at lower levels than Intermediate 1 will not fullfill the learning objectives of this course.
Following elective modules at Intermediate 1 should be chosen:
Passing these four elements will fulfill the learning objectives.
Tokai University Successful completion of all chosen "Pre-Intermediate" electives is required at this course. Basic Japanese does not fullfill the learning objectives of this course.
