Course content, structure and pedagogical
approach |
The purpose of the final project on the fourth semester is to
apply the knowledge, skills and competences acquired by the student
during the program to a specific problem. The student must
formulate, analyze and draw conclusions from a complex problem of
choice connected to the content of the program and communicate
these results on a high academic and linguistic level. Typically,
final projects are concerned with aspects of a specific company’s
planning and management of its international activities.
The project must be written in groups of max. two
people.
|
Description of the teaching methods |
A supervisor for the project is appointed to each
student.
The supervisor provides supervision throughout the process and acts
as examiner. |
Feedback during the teaching period |
9 hours of supervision are allocated if the
project is written by one person
12 hours if it is written by two people.
This includes the time spent on preparation, communication and
administration by the supervisor.
Supervision must be held within the ordinary deadline for
submission.
The student can get 2 extra hours of supervision, when
participating in the retake exam for Final project. This is only,
if all the supervision hours assigned to the student for the
ordinary exam has been used and the students has made an attempt at
the ordinary exam. |
Student workload |
Preparation including hours for participation in workshops and
for preparation for supervision |
392 hours |
Hours for participation in supervision with supervisors |
