Objective: This course builds analytical
insight into relationships between knowledge, innovation and
competitiveness and into their implications for the management of
innovation.

| Description of the teaching methods | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| This course applies blended learning principles, i.e. the combination of pre-recorded online teaching with face-to-face teaching. The course features lectures and case discussions. Moreover, students form groups of four or five to analyze a recent innovation in a specific company based on interviews and desk research in order to prepare for the exam. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Feedback during the teaching period | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Written home assignment: Students form groups of
four or five to submit a written assignment. The assignment is a
preparation for the exam. It is jointly prepared by the group and
submitted by a specific deadline. Written feedback will be
provided.
There is continuous feedback to students based on case analyses and exercises in class. |
