Examination | |||||
The examination is an individually written home assignment consisting, at least in part, of a case analysis. Students will be graded on the soundness of their analyses and persuasiveness of their arguments especially how they apply the frameworks we have derived during class discussion. Because there are no “right” answers in a case analysis, students can do well by taking and defending, as well as challenging, a wide variety of positions. The best way to prepare for the exam is to attend all of the sessions, to read all assigned cases before class, and to discuss and analyze the cases and your understanding of them both in your study groups and in class. Under no circumstances do we recommend leaving all of the reading until the end of the semester. | |||||
