Learning Objectives
  • The course’s development of personal competences:
  • The student shall master the main models of experience economy and festivals
  • The student shall demonstrate knowledge and understanding of experience economy and festivals in relation to innovation and marketing
  • The student shall be able to apply the models from the curriculum
  • The student shall be able to use experience economy and festivals in relation to strategy and management
  • The student shall be able to use experience economy and festivals in relation to managed primary and secondary productions.
  • Objectives:
  • To enable the student to understand an experience economy and creative economy operation as well as festivals in a framework developed from a combination of a theoretical base and examination of practical operations
  • To develop an understanding of the elements which compromise an experience and how effectiveness of experience and attraction management can be achieved.
  • To provide an appreciation of the nature of the processes embedded in experience operations and festivals and to examine business areas especially innovation and marketing.
Prerequisite
Knowledge of managerial economics and of basic micro- and macro economics. The students must document a level in English equal to TOEFL 575 and a level in mathematics equal to Danish level B.

Assessment Oral with Written Assignment

Censorship Internal examiners
Exam Period Spring Term, the oral exam is tentative planned for week 18-19. Hand in deadline for the synopsis will be announced at e-campus under electives/ exam / exam plans

Oral exam is based on an individual synopsis – 3 pages.
The grade is based on an overall evaluation of the project and the oral examination. You must hand in 3 copies of the synopsis.

Re-examination is held according to the same examination regulations as the regular examination. A new synopsis should be handed in and questions from Curriculum should be expected.
