After completing the course students should be able to

Examination
Individual 10-page term paper discussing at least two of the theoretical approaches covered in the course. The exam is graded by teacher and external examiner on the 7-point scale.
Re-exam: 4 hour written closed book exam.
Course Content
The course focuses on institutions, actors and processes involved in developing and shaping the international and global political, societal and institutional framework for business. It gives students factual knowledge about institutional forms, governance principles and regulatory content of major sources of international business regulation, and it covers important contemporary theories and approaches to this field. The approaches are discussed and compared based on their inherent theoretical strengths and weaknesses, and it also stresses evaluation of their applicability in empirical analysis.
