The student must be highly active during classes. At the exam the student must • Explain the content of the legal and economic theories in conjunction with climate issues • Be able to apply legal and economic theories on business cases or policy situation regarding different industries • Analyze a real world situation on a theoretical basis and be able to apply theory on cases. • Use a set of theoretical tools to analyse a legal and economic situation or phenomena in the market. • Identify and reflect upon the theoretical implications of the analyzed phenomena involving both law and economics problems | |||||||||||||||||

Course Content | |||||||||||||||||
The courseis built around five main themes, which initially provides an overview of the climatic status of a national and global perspective. The subject's second main theme covers the strategic challenges of the implications for the company, including its CSR. The third main theme includes renewable energy and cleantech in an EU Judicial and national perspective. Fourth main theme covers the influence which the climate regulatory framework for the company, especially for the UNFCCC. Finally, the focus is below the closing theme on the fiscal implications in connection with the decomposition of CO 2 ratios and the Climate Justice credits. | |||||||||||||||||
Teaching Methods | |||||||||||||||||
Case based teaching, where the students are expected to participate on a high level. The student shall through the elective work from a multidisciplinary perspective and be able to think and work very abstract. | |||||||||||||||||

The elective will run even though the number of students is limited. However, if the number is very scarce, the teaching will be conducted as a study group. | |||||||||||||||||
