The exam consists in writing a scientific (subject-related) paper,
15-20 standard pages. The topic for the scientific paper will
reflect a combination of topics addressed in the course. The papers
can be done individually or in groups of two. However, if written
in groups it is a requirement that the different parts of the paper
are individualized, so it clearly shows who has written which part
in order to facilitate an individual grading.
• The paper will be evaluated on the basis of relevance and
potential contribution and logical flow of arguments, clarity of
argumentation with justified choice of theoretical approaches, and
reflection with thoughtful discussions that show deep understanding
of the material.
• The assessment is carried out by two internal examiners and a
second internal examiner.
The Scientific paper will be completed during March/April.
Make-up/ re-exams take place in August. If the
student did not pass the regular exam, a new or a revised project,
cf. advice from the examiner of the regular exam, must be handed
in. The make-up/re-exam paper can be written individually or in
groups (provided that other students are taking the
make-up/re-exam).
