Examination form |
Home assignment - written product |
Individual or group exam |

|
The report is written by a group of 4 students.
Exceptions are allowed if this number, for some reason, is not
reachable. In these cases, the minimum number of group members is 3
and the maximum is 5. Group formation should take into account that
complementarities typically make a team stronger. All teams,
regardless of size, are offered 6 hours of supervision.
Grading is individual and each student must identify the parts of
the report that s/he has authored. |
Size of written product |
Max. 40 pages |
|
Maximum length of the report is 10 pages per
student excluding cover page, literature references and
appendices. |
Assignment type |
Project |
Duration |
Written product to be submitted on specified date
and time. |
Grading scale |
7-step scale |
Examiner(s) |
Internal examiner and external examiner |
Exam period |
May/June and August |
Make-up exam/re-exam |
Same examination form as the ordinary exam
If a student does not pass the exam,
a revised project must be handed in. This can be done individually
or in groups. The latter requires all group members to take the
make-up/re-exam.

Course content and
structure |
The aim of the course is to make students apply the analytical
skills and techniques acquired during the first year of the program
on a problem that is relevant to a company, an organization or
another outside partner.
The analysis should result in a “consultancy” report addressing a
relevant problem for an external partner, i.e. the focus should not
only be on theory but also on practical problem solving and
advise.
|
Teaching methods |
Three lectures (with focus on
introducing the business project and Q&A).
Supervision by relevant faculty (agreements are made
bilaterally). |
