Completion of first semester.
Submission of the formal agreement form which needs to be handed in before the beginning of the project period. FORMAL REQUIREMENTS • The project can be done by one or more persons • The workload for each student is 7.5 ECTS • The report needs to be within 15 standard pages for one person, for two or more persons no longer than 25 standard pages. • The front page of the report should contain the name of the study program, name and ID of the student, the name of the supervisor, date of completion, explicit statement whether the report is part of an IMBE, IM or general profile • In appendix to the project report, include the detailed project description that was handed in week three of the project period. • The project should be uploaded at learn May 30th 2015 |

Course content and structure | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
The project needs to incorporate theory and/or contribute to theory-building, problems, methodologies, and solutions. Ideally, the project is pointing forward to study relevant activities at third semester and the master thesis. The project can be artefact/ prototype oriented.
The project needs to be anchored in first semester courses exploring for example topics as big data, cloud computing, global sourcing, gamification, IT governance, business model transformation, disruptive technologies, innovation and entrepreneurship.

The student will receive supervision
in the project. There is 3 hours for one student, 5 hours for 2
students, 7 hours for three students, 10 hours for 4 or more
students
The project period start at 10 AM the first Monday in first week of the semester with a physical gathering for all project participants. First Monday in March, April and May, there are workshops where students can meet with other students, the study program director and thesis coordinator. |

DEADLINES By November 5th the form needs to be completed and mailed to the study program administration. The form can be either printed and delivered in person or s-mail or sent by e-mail to Irene Tong at the administration.
Supervisors will be assigned by the coordinator. The allocation of supervisors will be ready by January 20th 2015.
Three weeks after the project starts, the detailed project description is to be mailed to the project coordinator. In the project description, the overall design of the project is detailed. The design needs to describe which problem is addressed, the objective and relevance of the project, the data collected/analyzed, which methods/theories are planned to be used, and account for what learning activities are being planned.
There can be adjustments to the project description, but these will have to be justified and approved by the supervisor.
