Course content and structure

The course has its main focus on central concepts, theories, and debates in political science in a comparative perspective. It covers political institutions, processes, actors, and ideas in selected countries as well as theories about how political systems work at the national and international levels. The course also introduces students to interdisciplinary perspectives to the study of international business and politics. The course consists of lectures, tutorials, and written home-assignments.

Teaching methods
Lectures with discussions for entire class.
Tutorials with group work in clusters of 20 students (4-5 groups of 4-5 students). Assignments are handed out in advance of tutorials; groups prepare oral and power-point presentations of answers.
Individual written home assignments - 3-5 pages.
