Course content and structure | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The project is mandatory study activity for students who seek an information management (IM) specialization or an information technology management and business economics (IMBE) specialization at the cand. merc. (it.) study program.
Ideally, the project is pointing forward to study relevant activities at third semester and the master thesis.
The project needs to be anchored in first semester courses exploring for example topics as big data, cloud computing, global sourcing, gamification, IT governance, business model transformation, disruptive technologies, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
The project can be an artefact/ prototype oriented prototype or a more conventional project. Regardless of project type, it needs to be anchored in subjects and themes central for the study program and where relevant incorporate theory and/or models and methodologies and / or tools.
