Learning objectives |
To achieve the grade 12, students
should meet the following learning objectives with no or only minor
mistakes or errors: After the course the successful student can:
- analyze a complex situation by choosing and applying relevant
theories and methods from the IBP curriculum to the situation,
- justify the choice and application of theory and methods,
- formulate and justify recommendations for actors based on the
analysis.

Oral exam based on written product
In order to participate in the oral exam, the written product
must be handed in before the oral exam; by the set deadline. The
grade is based on an overall assessment of the written product and
the individual oral performance. |

Same examination form as the ordinary exam
If ill at the ordinary oral exam,
students are entitled to attend the retake oral exam based on the
written group synopsis handed in at the ordinary exam. The synopsis
must be resubmitted.
Students failing the ordinary oral exam must hand in a new 5 page
synopsis to the retake.
Students who failed to submit a synopsis for the ordinary exam must
hand in a new 5 page
synopsis.

Course content and
structure |
This course is a three-week intensive case-based course which
builds on the three other core-courses in the first semester (IBS,
IPE and Law).
The course focuses on decision-making problems in complex
real-life or simulated real-life situations involving international
business and politics. It includes cases from the private
for-profit sector, the private non-profit sector, and the national
or international public sector. It draws on theories and
methods presented in the program’s core courses in international
business strategy, international political economy and
international economic law.
