Course content and structure

This course is placed in the first quarter to ensure the broad view of the firm and strategy models, including the importance of management when working with strategy and introducing basic strategy model and how to implement. Key objectives are:

 

  • Benefitting from game theory as a framework for analyzing the strategic game board

  • The strategy game board

  • Strategic analysis, management, execution and implementation

  • Leadership impact on strategy execution

  • How is leadership special in service firms? – creating meaning, commitment & empowerment

  • Strategy as a game

  • Strategy in a sharing economy context

  • Scenario planning
