Course content and structure
The primary focus of this course is to enable the students to use the Japanese language to communicate effectively about aspects related to Japanese business. It is not a practical course in Japanese business language.
It is of critical importance for the success rate of this course, and thereby the learning outcome of the student, that each and everyone of the participants are active in class and constant in their attendance. |

Teaching methods | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Teaching methods are based on participation in class discussions and contributions to student presentations. Teaching revolves around a content-based textbook for upper-intermediate students.
Feedback during the teaching period
The student will receive oral feedback from the
instructor after each in-class presentation as well as written
and/or oral feedback on how to improve in regards to the weekly
written exercises.
Feedback is further offered in response to your questions and work whenever feasible although please appreciate that there are often time constraints. Please feel free to take full advantage of the ‘office hours’ offered by full-time staff members, although these can never be a substitute for participation in lectures and classes. We also encourage you to ask questions or make comments in class and form self-study groups to secure peer feedback on your work. |
