Course content and structure | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The course investigates how communication shapes, and is shaped
by, various aspects of an organisation, such as its structure or
(sub)culture(s) - including classical and human relations
approaches as well as processes within the areas of socialization,
decision making, conflict management, leadership, technology and
organizational change.
The 'Organization and its Communication' course prepares the students for the work as in-house communication specialists in large and small public and private organizations. By focusing on individual disciplines of Organizational Communication and on the interconnections between the disciplines, students are given the tools to act as communication strategists and practitioners towards internal stakeholders. |
