Course content and structure | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The Final Project is kicked off with a workshop, where the project requirements are gone through and guidance is provided on the project work. The working plan and method for the project work is determined by the student(s). The student(s) prepare(s) a plan for how to identify, substantiate and analyse a complex supply chain management issue. A specific problem within supply chain management is formulated. The student(s) is/are given a supervisor who provides guidance throughout the process. The supervisor also acts as examiner.
The purpose of the Final Project is to offer the students the possibility of devoting themselves to solving a major supply chain management problem for which the scientific perspectives, theories, models and methods acquired by the students can be applied.
The objective of the Final Project is to have the students gain an overview of the theories, models and methods of the programme, and to have them demonstrate the ability to apply these and reflect on their potentials and limitations. In addition to this, the purpose is for the students to obtain training in working independently on a complex, academically relevant, issue. Finally, the purpose is that the students obtain training in communicating a complex supply chain management issue, method, analysis and conclusion, both written as well as oral communication. |
