Gender and Diversity Management: Towards Inclusive Organisations provides an introductory immersion to the field of gender and diversity management through both academic literature and practice. The seminar responds to recent demographic changes and anticipates future cultural shifts that demand managers who are gender and diversity sensitive, internationally focused, and capable of dealing with complexity. Through lectures, case study discussions, company presentations, independent study, and group assignments including a real gender and diversity business case project, students will learn about how diversity, with its multiple dimensions such as gender, race/ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, disability, and religion/belief, is a process and resource to be leveraged to develop a competitive organisation or business. |
