The course is based on lectures, discussions and
group work. It will include corporate speakers, case presentations
and mini-assignments with focus on application of concepts and
theories - and the use of theories on given cases for analytical
purposes .
To prepare for the exam, students have the opportunity to collect a portfolio of presentations and deliveries made in class: Students will be assigned to a group/case and are expected to make deliveries based on given themes/issues related to their case (i.e. leadership, power, organisational design, communication/culture/change management) .The delivery is in the form of 3 minute presentations and/or A-4 paper hand-ins which will be scanned and up-loaded following the exercise class on Learn. |

During the course, group assignments ‘deliveries
‘ (oral and written) allow students to test their knowledge and get
feedback on theories and their application to corporate CASEs. The
assignments completed in class are uploaded on learn (A-4 page(s)
for the whole class to demonstrate findings and enable comparison
across cases. These are mandatory requirements. Feedback is given
to the entire class, showing good examples and pointing to typical
mistakes.
Feedback is also provided in class and requires class participation. |
