Course content and structure
Projects are integral to management work, and therefore, project management competences are fundamental to aspiring managers. In the last decades we have also noted the prevelance of projects across society and our lifes - your studies are a project, so is your trip around the globe or the big party you organized last month. We all run a portfolio of projects, which will shape our lives and identities. In this respect, projects permiate the fabrics of our society and ourselves. The general purpose of the course is to enable you to participate in projects, apply knowledge relevant project management concepts and tools in practice, and critically appraise behaviours and practices in and around projects. |

Description of the teaching methods
We will use a combination of the following
teaching methods:
- Reading: Students are expected to read the material individually or in groups at home - Lecturers: We will have classic lectures, discussing the material and illustrating it based on cases from students and beyond - Presentation of the group report: students are expected to present the preliminary results of their reports at least once in class. - Group work: students are expected to engage with a real-life project, preferably recently completed. The students will gain access to the case, and study something of their own interest. - Peer review: students are expected to review each other's reports in the course of the course. |
