We will then move to examine the contemporary environment with particular emphasis on differences across cultural and political lines. As part of this course students will learn about various frameworks and tools which firms use to develop, assess, and communicate about their social and environmental impacts. We will examine key issues and challenges for firms in both meeting legal minimum standards and exceeding stakeholder expectations with regard to critical global issues.
