Learning objectives |
Aim of the course is to provide a real-life
experience in the form of a consulting report, researched and
written by a team of junior consultants (students). The student
should apply the analytical skills acquired during the first year
on a problem of relevance to a company or an organisation.
The aim of the course is to:
- provide the participants with an in-depth knowledge in a
specified problem area in finance, economics, and/or corporate
strategy
- apply concepts and analytical skills acquired during the first
year of graduate study to a specific problem
- train the participants with respect to writing a report that
follows academic standards and clearly communicates the problem and
the analysis within a limited time period based on
teamwork

Description of the exam
procedure
The project is conducted in groups over a period of 1 month.
The department provides each group with a
supervisor.

The course is a foundation course and complementary to all
courses taught in the first year of the FSM
concentration.
