Compulsory home
assignments
The students will work with previous exam case for the two compulsory assignments using the same tasks the students are required to work with for the exam. A one-page executive summary and a four-page PowerPoint presentation. The evaluation of the two assignments is either fail or pass. Students must get one of the two compulsory assignments approved to be able to participate in the exam. Students will not have extra opportunities to get the required number of compulsory activities approved prior to the ordinary exam. If a student has not received approval of the required number of compulsory activities or has been ill, the student cannot participate in the ordinary exam. If a student prior to the retake is still missing approval for the required number of compulsory activities and meets the pre-conditions set out in the program regulations, an extra assignment is possible. The extra assignment is a 10 page home assignment that will cover the required number of compulsory activities. If approved, the student will be able to attend retake. |

Course content, structure and pedagogical approach | ||||||||||||||||||||||
The course enables students to critically reflect upon theories
of relevance to international management. In particular, focus will
be put on management theories that provide insights into business
organisation and strategy in the international knowledge and
network economy.

Description of the teaching methods | ||||||||||||||||||||||
The teaching consists of a mixture of large classes and exersizes with dialog-based lectures, presentations, discussions, and assignments/cases. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
Feedback during the teaching period | ||||||||||||||||||||||
The students will get the chance to practice for the exam during the semester in two stages and will receive short feedback on these assignments, which are compulsory. Furthermore, a part of the last session will be used for feedback regarding the course this means that feedback will be organised as a natural part of the course. As concerns the exam the examiners will either have office hours set up where students can come by for short feedback or provide short feedback by email. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
