Course content, structure and pedagogical approach

Internships offer an introduction to professional work environments. It provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a company, institution or organization that works professionally with issues relating to digital management.

In so doing, internships develop the professional skills of the students in terms of understanding, describing, explaining and applying the relevance of their academic knowlegde in a professional context for digital business management.

The main objective of internships is to bring into dialogue academic and theoretical knowledge with professional experiences. It is important that the report reflects this dialogue and that it is made into actionable knowledge that can be mobilized for further academic insights, for instance in the bachelor project or similar type of exam. Hence, the report contains four elements that will be handed in on a running basis every second week.

Description of the teaching methods
Supervision from CBS and the organization
Feedback during the teaching period
Feedback on the academic progress of the internship report consists of continuous feedback of the mandatory assignments as well as oral feedback during individual supervision sessions. The supervisor gives feedback on choice of topic, theme, problem formulation and research design during project writing.
Student workload
