Learning objectives
general and specific knowledge of common law and contracts, e.i. introduction to common law, operation of the common law, the impact of the common law on global legal systems and introduction to contract law under the common law regime. The student must be able to:
  • nalysing primary sources of law and other materials relevant to the common law of contracts, including developing case analysis skills
  • understanding origin, development and operation of common law of contract
  • developing knowledge of the impact of common law in a civil law context

This course is structured as a case reading class with few classes and a high degree of student involvement. The student will work woth textes, cases, sources of law, dialogue, presentations in class and peer evaluations.
