Learning objectives |
In the
term project, in order to achieve the grade PASS, students should meet the
following learning objectives with no or only minor mistakes or errors:

Select and apply models, concepts and theories towards a given case company based on the courses taught in the
term.

Identify functional issues emerging from an analysis of the case company based on the functional areas of the courses taught in the term.

Integrate the findings from the different functions in a cross functional analysis.
-
Identify cross functional themes that can serve as an input to the scope of the
Integrated Strategy Project.

A written case assignment based on a
case or a subject chosen by the
teacher. The assignment must be formulated and given to the
students at least nine days prior to the expiration of the
deadline. It should be 15 pages long and submitted to CBS Digital
Exam. The exam is held internally, and the assignment is put
forward and assessed by the relevant faculty.
The make-up/re-examination will be held as an oral examination if
the number of registered candidates for the make-up
examination/re-take examination warrants that it may most
appropriately be held as an oral
examination.

Course content, structure and pedagogical
approach |
The second integrated term project is an
analysis of the participant’s own organization/company departing
from the courses taught in the second term. The analysis is
supposed to bridge the perspectives in the courses, and will as
such have the industry and stakeholders (particularly customers) as
the focal object of analysis. It is the application of models,
theories and frameworks on the participant’s own practice that is
the major purpose – and linked to this analysis, the expected
outcome is an identification of a number of potential strategic
issues.

own organization supported by academic counselling available to the
students |

the grade when written and oral exams have been
