Description of the exam procedure

It is not possible to replace the exam with a term paper.

 

About the make-up/re-take exam:

 

Size of the written product: No maximum number of pages, students have 4 hours to complete the assignment.

 

If the number of registered candidates for the make-up examination/re-take examination warrants that it may most appropriately be held as an oral examination, the programme office will inform the students that the make-up examination/re-take examination will be held as an oral examination instead.

Course content, structure and pedagogical approach

Theory-based lectures are supplemented with exercises and workshops. Lectures provide the students with the necessary tools to make financial analyses and valuation. Through workshops, students understand better the theories and learn how to apply a variety of decision models in the practice.

 

Description of the teaching methods
Lectures with exercises and workshops.
Feedback during the teaching period
Exercise classes entail feedback to students who have prepared solutions at home. Students will see the instructor's solution and are encouraged to speak up in case of deviations between the instructor solutions and their own solutions. Online or in-class quizzes may be offered in order to give students a quick indication of their understanding of each topic.
