Course content, structure and pedagogical approach | ||||||||||||||||||||||
Innovation has become an increasingly crucial ingredient in
value generation and development of organizations and the human
enterprise at large. Innovation takes many forms and shapes;;
Product/Service Innovation aims at creating an immediate
competitive advantage through differentiation visible to the buyer,
Process Innovation can lead to both differentiation and cost
advantage, whereas business model innovation typically has a longer
term strategic objectives. In the course, we will look at the
different forms of innovation and how organizations can drive
innovation forward (drivers and barriers).

Description of the teaching methods | ||||||||||||||||||||||
Seminar: lectures, case discussions, mini workshops, guest lectures and class presentations. The class meetings are interactive and require ongoing engagement of the students. The interactive nature of the course requires attendance in order to acquire successfully the learning objectives. | ||||||||||||||||||||||

Feedback is given to the student together with the grade when written exam has been evaluated. The evaluation At the evaluation unit at CBS’s Economic & Analysis department we ask you to evaluate the overall course. In other words if there has been exercise classes and lectures the evaluation should include both. We evaluate every course and faculty to secure and strengthen the professional level of the offered course. |
