This course helps students to understand research methods as an integrated whole. The course will underscore the value of both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, and the need to make ethical research decisions. Specifically, the course will develop the necessary critical skills to evaluate published research, and to carry students' own original research.

Description of the teaching methods
The course will comprise a lecture series, exercise classes and workshops.
Feedback during the teaching period
During lectures the lecturer will provide feedback on the inputs from the students. The exercise classes will include feedback from peers and the instructor.
