Course content, structure and pedagogical approach

The key to organizational success in the coming decade is leveraging technology to future-proof the business organization. Meaningful digital transformation can be achieved by paying careful attention to the emerging technological advancements in four key areas: computation (e.g., Quantum Computing), data management (Blockchain), automation (Robotics), and decision making (generative and explainable artificial intelligence).

At its core, digital transformation is about how to future proof the business organization, leading to new revenue streams, more efficient operations, and better employee experiences. Futureproof organizations learn how to deal with uncertainty about the future, anticipate change, and leverage it for generating value. In order to accomplish this objective, it's vital to understand which new technologies are available, appropriate, and optimal in the context of the organization and its business environment.

This course will provide students with tools and insight about how to scan, anticipate and, shape the future by creating a future-proof strategy and actionable insights.
