Leading Change is a key ingredient for achieving organizational performance and maintaining employee motivation and wellbeing. Building on research in organization and leadership, the course offers insights that help participants effectively lead organizational change and nurture their own change agency.

The course addresses different ways of leading change, such as cognition, culture, organizational design, and incentives. It also explores interfaces between leadership and other relevant aspects of business, such as strategy.

Description of the teaching methods
The course uses diverse teaching methods, including lectures, cases, readings and discussions. The classroom activities are interactive and require participants to engage in cases and discussions. Participants are also encouraged to use their own experiences and their reactions to them, to share their insights, and to ask as well as answer questions. Participants are expected to learn from their classmates and to contribute respectfully to their learning as well.
Feedback during the teaching period
The Feedback: Feedback is given to the student together with the grade when the exam has been assessed.
The Evaluation: At the evaluation unit at CBS’s Economics & Analysis department, we ask you to evaluate the overall course. In other words, if there has been exercise classes and lectures, the evaluation should include both. We evaluate every course and faculty to secure and strengthen the professional level of the offered course.
