Course content, structure and pedagogical
approach |
The sharing economy, including giving someone a ride and having
a guest in your spare room, is quite popular in the digital era.
The key concept is that you are not helping a friend for free; You
are providing these services with a stranger for money. This course
will introduce this new way of organizing economic activity that
can complement the traditional corporate-centered model. The key
elements in business models will be presented, the typical patterns
will be investigated, and the approaches to innovate the business
models will be discussed. This course will train students in the
related frameworks, theories, models and methodologies and tools in
the sharing economy. Students will work with real cases and real
data sets.
