The sharing economy, including giving someone a ride and having a guest in your spare room, is quite popular in the digital era. The key concept is that you are not helping a friend for free; You are providing these services with a stranger for money. This course will introduce this new way of organizing economic activity that can complement the traditional corporate-centered model. The key elements in business models will be presented, the typical patterns will be investigated, and the approaches to innovate the business models will be discussed. This course will train students in the related frameworks, theories, models and methodologies and tools in the sharing economy. Students will work with real cases and real data sets.

Both face-to-face and online teaching will be conducted.
